Lowlander opens world’s first mobile beer garden
Botanical brewer Lowlander has opened world’s first mobile beer garden during lockdown.
The Botanical Beer Garden To Go is a luxury mini-oasis on wheels including beers, light bites and bartenders for consumers to finally enjoy hospitality at its finest again.
As the love for nature runs deep in their DNA, Lowlander is determined to create unforgettable experiences through fantastic flavour and outdoor events, introducing their guests and customers to the wonderous world of botanicals.
Chief Botanical Officer and Lowlander Founder, Frederik Kampman said: “In times like these – when not much is possible – we are extra motivated to find ways to give people a taste of Lowlander.
“With the launch of our Botanical Beer Garden To Go, we get to offer an out of home, yet close to home experience full of naturally delicious beers, snacks and service. And isn’t that exactly what we need right now?”
The Botanical Beer Garden To Go has turned out to be a great success. With a limited amount of time and stops available, it received over 600 registrations. Through an exclusive giveaway reaching nearly 100,000 Instagram users, 30 lucky winners got the chance to take a seat at the world’s first mobile beer garden. Travelling through six of The Netherlands’ biggest cities, the Botanical Beer Garden To Go was seen by an estimated 320,000 passers-by.
“The success behind the Botanical Beer Garden To Go not only proves how much we miss visiting bars and restaurants, but also proves how much is still possible within the measures against coronavirus to have a good time,” said Mr Kampman. “If you ask us, this definitely also applies to the hospitality industry.”
To support their locals, the botanical brewer has joined forces with six different restaurants across the country, giving each an opportunity to give away a spot at the mobile beer garden.
“That way they were finally able to welcome guests to an alternative restaurant environment again.”
