With an 8% growth in takeaway-style chicken mealsand only 1.5% featuring gravy or pour-over sauces, Bisto has identified an opportunity to innovate and expand the choices available in the category, meeting the demand for saucy, flavour-led experiences in the home.
Bisto is redefining gravy’s role in mealtime occasions with the launch of its new Peri-Peri flavour – proving that gravy isn’t just for Sunday roasts. As consumer tastes evolve, the innovation offers a bold, convenient way to elevate everyday dishes and bring younger shoppers into the category with a popular flavour. Designed with versatility in mind, the granules dissolve quickly with boiling water, allowing shoppers to recreate the spicy, restaurant-inspired experience at home in minutes. The launch opens the door to even more occasions and reinforces Bisto’s commitment to driving growth within the category.
