LEADING plant-based recipe kit start-up, GRUBBY, has unveiled its first cookbook as part of the brand’s mission to make cooking with plants more accessible.
Available now on the GRUBBY site, and from Amazon, Waterstones and Foyles in January, Grubby Recipes features more than 60 dishes, packed with flavour, tips and tricks to inspire readers to cook delicious and nutritious vegan meals from scratch.
The book includes plant-based twists on comfort food staples such as Aubergine, Lentil and Courgette Moussaka, Butternut Squash Risotto and Gochujang Mac and ‘Cheese’, as well as nourishing healthy dishes, such as Mexican Black Bean Stew, Sticky Tofu Rice Noodle Salad or Thai Quinoa Rainbow Salad.
Readers can also find Friday ‘fakeaway’ treats, such as Sweet and Sour Tofu, Black bean Enchiladas, Nduja and Tenderstem Pizza Flatbreads or a Crispy Tofu Burger.
GRUBBY, is one of Trustpilot’s highest rated online home delivery meal kits and the world’s first plant-based option.
Founded by Martin Holden-White, GRUBBY was created to make plant-based meals more accessible, fun and tasty, whilst protecting that planet. Championing British produce and suppliers, GRUBBY already delivers delicious meals nationwide to over 56,000 consumers online, with all London meals delivered via zero emission couriers. The range has a growing foodie following, partnering with restaurant chain, LEON and Sunday Times Best-Selling vegan authors and influencers BOSH! with their online recipes.
Mr Holden-White said: “We are delighted to launch our first cookbook, after countless requests from our customers over the years.
“Many people think going plant-based means giving up some of life’s pleasures. GRUBBY was founded to prove this isn’t the case – 80% of our customers are simply people who want to moderate their meat-in-take and build more plants into their diets for the benefit of their health and the planet.
“Just like our recipe kits, this book has been created to show even more people how unbelievably easy, super quick and really tasty plant-based can be.”
