Dip brand Holy Moly, known for its natural ingredients and bold flavours, is making its biggest snacking move yet with the launch of Holy Moly Guacamole Chip & Dip – a new snack pot designed for on-the-go goodness and mealtime upgrades.

The pot will be hitting the fridge shelves in over 900 Sainsbury’s stores from 28th April for £1.85, as well as being part of their meal deal. They are launching in WHSmith Travel stores from 28th June and the snack pot will also be served onboard LNER trains across the UK from 11th June.

The snack-size pot format pairs Holy Moly’s signature guacamole with crunchy tortilla corn chips in a handy two-part pack. Made with just real, simple ingredients – avocado, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, coriander and lime juice – Holy Moly Guacamole is free from preservatives and artificial nasties. It’s paired with crunchy, salted corn chips made from corn masa and rosemary extract for a perfectly balanced, dippable bite.

Tom Walker, Co-founder of Holy Moly commented: “This launch has been years in the making and we’ve worked really hard to get it right – creating a chip-and-dip format that has all the flavour, and real ingredients Holy Moly is known for. Snacking is a competitive space, so landing in the meal deal is a big win that gets us in front of a whole new wave of shoppers.”

Holy Moly’s move into on-the-go snacking comes at the perfect moment as consumer preferences evolve towards quality convenience. According to Mintel, the UK snacking market is in a good position to benefit from a willingness among many consumers to pay more for snacks with certain attributes. 52% agree that it is worth paying more for snacks with higher-quality ingredients and 45% for snacks with healthier ingredients.
