Shackletons Milling was founded in 1859, when the Shackleton family first began milling on the banks of the River Liffey near Dublin City. For more than 160 years, the company evolved alongside Ireland’s food industry, transitioning from a traditional flour mill into a progressive food-ingredients provider. Managing Director Michael Cullen discussed the story of the business with Hannah Barnett.
