SIAL Paris 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest global food event yet, with nine months to go before the doors open from October 17 to 21 at Paris Nord Villepinte. Already, the show is showing strong commercial momentum, positioning itself as a key platform for international business and global food industry discussions.
Exhibitor interest is running high. So far, 260,000 m² of exhibition space has been sold, a 16% increase compared to the same stage in 2024. Several sectors—including savory and delicatessen, poultry, cold cuts and meat, grains and pulses, and fruits and vegetables—are nearly full, with waiting lists in place. Overall, SIAL Paris 2026 is expected to host more than 8,000 exhibitors, up from 7,500 in 2024. At the same time, sectors like grocery, sweet products, frozen foods, and beverages are attracting many new exhibitors, broadening the range of products on display. Audrey Ashworth, Director of SIAL Paris, says the event is “all systems go,” with indicators pointing to very positive momentum.
The show is also adapting to market trends. A new hall dedicated to snacking and delicatessen products will make it easier for visitors to navigate, while experience-driven events will focus on bakery and pizza, offering fresh ways to engage with products.
France remains a top exhibitor, with Île-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, and Normandy leading the way. French regions are supporting innovation and international growth through initiatives such as Hauts-de-France’s Food Creativ contest and Île-de-France’s AgroAlia program, which organizes discussions and talks with local businesses. SIAL Paris is working with national organizations and institutions to help French companies expand their global reach.
With strong international participation and a program closely aligned with current food trends, SIAL Paris 2026 is set to be a key moment for the global food industry. More than 8,000 exhibitors and 400,000 products are expected, making it not just a showcase but a hub for international business development.
Organized by Comexposium, SIAL Paris is part of the SIAL Network, connecting 17,000 exhibitors and 700,000 professionals from 205 countries through eleven global events. The next edition takes place October 17–21, 2026, at Paris Nord Villepinte.
