Belgian chocolatier Guylian is bringing a coastal twist to the Easter chocolate market with its new Seashells Easter egg, featuring the brand’s signature milk chocolate and iconic seahorse motif.
The 240g milk chocolate centrepiece is embossed with Guylian’s seahorse design and is paired with six individually wrapped Original Praliné Seahorse chocolates, providing a premium and distinctive touch. Designed for sharing or individual indulgence, the launch extends the brand’s flagship praline heritage into the seasonal category, offering retailers a standout product for the busy Easter period.
Crafted with 100% Fairtrade cacao and ingredients of natural origin, the egg is palm oil free and packaged in fully recyclable paper, reflecting Guylian’s commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability — a growing consideration for retailers and consumers alike.
The Seashells Easter egg is now available at major UK retailers, including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Waitrose, Lidl, Morrisons, and Amazon, with a recommended retail price of £14, dropping to £11 from 9 March as part of seasonal promotions.
With consumers increasingly seeking premium, responsibly sourced chocolate for gifting or personal indulgence, Guylian’s launch combines heritage, quality and sustainability. The move highlights how established brands can innovate within seasonal ranges, offering products that meet both ethical and indulgence-driven demand while enhancing retailers’ Easter offerings.
