f’real, the self-serve milkshake brand known for its premium blended beverages, is reintroducing its Birthday Cake Milkshake as a limited-edition flavour this summer, following sustained consumer demand since its original launch in 2022.
The flavour proved to be one of the brand’s most successful limited-time offerings, generating strong engagement across social media and in-store channels. Despite being discontinued, consumers continued to request its return, prompting f’real to bring the product back to freezers nationwide from June.
“Birthday Cake made a huge impact when it launched in 2022,” said Jessica Kobilski, Business Unit Head at f’real. “Ever since then, fans have been asking when it would return. That level of excitement and loyalty made it clear this flavour deserved a limited-edition comeback.”
The return also taps into the growing consumer appetite for nostalgic flavours, a trend that continues to influence purchasing decisions across the food-to-go and convenience sectors. Featuring a rich cake batter flavour blended with multicoloured sprinkles, the Birthday Cake Milkshake offers a celebratory, indulgent experience designed to appeal to both existing fans and new customers.
Available for a limited period, the flavour is expected to drive incremental footfall and encourage repeat purchases during the summer trading period.
