Potts has expanded its portfolio of ambient cooking sauces with a five-strong range of globally inspired pastes designed for air frying, grilling, marinades and scratch cooking.
The Wiltshire-based business said the new range has been developed to sit between scratch cooking and convenience, responding to growing demand for products that reduce the effort involved in preparing meals.
The launch comes as air fryer ownership continues to grow in the UK, with Potts citing figures suggesting that 65% of UK households now own an air fryer.
The range comprises Japanese Miso, Tamari & Ginger Teriyaki Flavour; South Indian Chilli, Kerala Masala Tandoori Flavour; Mexican Honey & Chipotle Flavour; Lebanese Zaatar Spice Flavour; and Korean Gochujang & Rice Wine Flavour.
Designed to be squeezed directly from the tube, the pastes aim to provide high flavour intensity and can be layered during cooking to build depth and complexity.
All five products are made using what Potts describes as ‘real food ingredients’, with four of the five recipes vegan.
The products are packaged in 100% recyclable aluminium tubes, which Potts said also help to minimise waste by allowing the contents to be squeezed out of the pack.
The launch taps into the continuing interest in global flavours, while also targeting the growing air fryer category with a format intended for use beyond traditional sauce applications.
Potts said the range is aimed at consumers ranging from younger, time-poor families to more experienced home cooks and food enthusiasts.
The products are expected to launch on 26 October, with a recommended retail price of £3 for a 100g tube.
