To start, the company has included its famous H.Forman & Son Smoked Salmon Royal Fillet Tartare infused with Martini, which is the king’s favourite pre-dinner tipple. This delicious dish is made with London Cure Smoked Salmon, diced by hand, blended with lemon juice, chives and a splash of Martini and topped with an olive for a classic Martini garnish.
For the main course, customers can enjoy Wild Mushroom Risotto Scotch Eggs, made with assorted wild British mushrooms. The eggs are soft-boiled and coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs for a satisfying crunch. Forman & Field has also added its signature Sausage Rolls, filled with Welsh lamb, studded with apricot and topped with a crown logo.
For a light bite, there is Salmon & Spinach Flamiches, made with flaky puff pastry, fresh Scottish salmon, and spinach. And to complement the savoury items, Baron Bigod Cheese, one of Queen Elizabeth’s favourite British cheeses, have been paired with Godminster Cheese Biscuits.
But that’s not all! In honour of the coronation, there is also a pot of Coronation Chicken. This dish, which was created for Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in 1953, is made with tender chicken breast and curry mayonnaise for a spicy kick.
No meal is complete without a sweet treat: the “King of Puddings”, Forman & Fields own take on the renowned Queen of Puddings, made with Lemon-baked egg custard, Raspberry compote and Whisky and topped with a meringue crown. This creamy lemon and whisky is an indulgent dessert and a royal favourite; the perfect way to end a celebratory meal.
