The UK’s first canned chilled soup hits Ocado

Innovative soup company DOZZ has scored a major online grocery win. The UK’s first chilled soup in a can has officially landed on Ocado, giving busy shoppers a fresh new way to grab a healthy meal without lifting more than a ring-pull lid.

Four of the brand’s standout flavours — Vegetable, Broccoli, Chilli Bean and Mushroom — are now available via the online retailer for £2.70 per 310ml can, bringing DOZZ’s ready-to-drink soups straight to consumers’ doorsteps.

Already crowned one of The Grocer’s ‘Top Launches of 2025’ in soup, DOZZ has been building momentum fast since arriving in the UK market. With strong traction across Europe and growing demand for healthier convenience food, the Ocado listing marks another big step forward for the chilled RTD brand.

And the timing couldn’t be better. As consumers continue to swap heavy lunches for lighter, more nutritious options, the food-to-go category is evolving quickly. Today’s shoppers want meals that fit around packed schedules — whether they’re working from home, commuting or squeezing lunch between meetings. Convenience is still king, but increasingly, so is clean-label nutrition.

That’s exactly where DOZZ is positioning itself. The soups are designed to be enjoyed cold, straight from the can, with no preservatives or artificial colours and calorie counts starting from just 102kcal per serving. For retailers, it also ticks the operational boxes: recyclable aluminium cans, a chilled shelf life of up to eight months and minimal handling requirements.

“Online grocery is a key channel for reaching health-conscious consumers seeking convenience without compromise,” said Ender Bolat, General Manager. “Our Ocado listing allows DOZZ to connect with shoppers in a format they can trust to deliver nutritious and tasty meals or snacks that are ready when they are. It’s an important step in reinforcing our presence in the UK and staying ahead in a competitive market.”

While the Ocado launch spotlights four core flavours, the wider DOZZ line-up spans globally inspired recipes including Gazpacho, Yogurt & Mint, Chicken, Lentil & Spinach and Tomato, catering to both plant-based and meat-eating consumers alike.

The brand will also be exhibiting at this year’s National Convenience Show 2026 as part of Food Drink Expo at the NEC, where it’s expected to continue championing a new era of grab-and-go eating.

For a category long dominated by sandwiches and snack pots, DOZZ is proving soup can still surprise shoppers — especially when it comes in a can.
