West Yorkshire family-run vanilla manufacturer Vanilla Etc has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, bringing its retail and manufacturing operations together under one name as the business enters its next phase of growth.
Founded in Yorkshire in 2011, Vanilla Etc manufactures premium vanilla extracts, pastes and other vanilla products from its dedicated facility in Keighley, West Yorkshire, supplying customers across retail, foodservice and food manufacturing in the UK and overseas.
The rebrand sees the company’s former Bonilla Madagascan retail branding transition to Vanilla Etc, the name under which the family business was originally founded.
The move creates a clear identity across the company’s retail and B2B operations and reflects how the business has developed from its beginnings in 2011 into an established British vanilla manufacturer.
Unlike many vanilla brands that simply import and distribute finished products, Vanilla Etc manufactures its extracts and pastes in-house in Yorkshire, giving the family-run team close control over quality, consistency and product development.
The rebrand comes during a period of investment and growth for the company. Vanilla Etc has expanded its Keighley manufacturing facility, increasing production capacity to support growing demand from both retail consumers and food manufacturers.
The company’s growth has been particularly strong within its alcohol-free vanilla range, reflecting increasing demand from consumers and manufacturers seeking high-quality alternatives to traditional alcohol-based vanilla extracts.
This success was recently recognised at the 2026 Great Taste Awards, where Vanilla Etc’s Alcohol-Free Vanilla Extract received a two-star award.
Produced at the company’s Yorkshire facility using Madagascan vanilla, the extract offers a versatile alcohol-free alternative suitable for a wide variety of applications, from traditional baking and desserts to coffee, matcha, yoghurt and dairy products.
The alcohol-free range is also Halal certified, opening further opportunities within both UK and international markets.
Vanilla Etc also received one-star Great Taste Awards for its Vanilla Bean Paste and Half Fold Vanilla Extract in 2026, further recognising the quality of products manufactured by the Yorkshire business.
Vanilla Etc remains family owned and operated, with founder Graham Bruce working alongside his daughters, Natalie and Alex, in the business.
The company’s family roots remain central to its identity and are reflected in the refreshed brand, which aims to communicate both the quality of the products and the people behind them.
