Chadwicks, the UK’s leading die-cut lidding manufacturer, is proud to have supplied specially designed lidding for Llaeth y Llan yogurt in support of the largest national youth organisation in Wales, The Urdd Eisteddfod.
As a family business, The Village Dairy, home of Llaeth y Llan believes strongly in supporting its local community, and encouraging more Welsh speakers, which is why this year they championed the 100-year centenary of The Urdd Eisteddfod.
“To help celebrate, we sponsored Urdd Eisteddfod’s annual event, held in Denbigh, North Wales and ran a competition for children to help design our packaging,” Julie Caley, Commercial Manager, from The Village Dairy, said. “Rhys Thomas, aged 8, was our chosen winner for the lid design, with his amazing drawing of a cow from his grandfather’s farm grazing in the idyllic Welsh countryside.
“Chadwicks took the winning design and printed it onto our large 450g pot lids for everyone to see.”
“It was a great initiative and a fantastic piece of artwork to reproduce for the lidding,” Alastair Bearman, Sales and Marketing Director at Chadwicks, said. “We would like to extend a huge congratulations to Rhys and Llaeth y Llan.”
The Village Dairy is owned and run by the Roberts’ Family who have been producing delicious Welsh yogurt for over 30 years, with Chadwicks fulfilling all its pre-cut lidding requirements.
